As a parent I can relate to this one. There is no better way to learn than to do it while playing a game and having a little fun! Wildcraft! provides the perfect learning experience for the entire family.
This game is great for parents and their children alike!

Wildcraft! is a cooperative “Herbal Adventure Game” where players learn about the many uses of edible and medicinal plants and herbs.
Focusing on 25 of the most important plants, the game takes you through several unique and diverse ecosystems, providing players and onlookers with useful information about the plants and where they can be found.

Wildcraft! can be played with 1 to 4 people and no prior knowledge of plants or herbs is needed.
For the parents of little ones, no reading is required for even the youngest of kiddos to participate.

how do i order this?
Under the last picture, there is a line with the hyperlink to take you to Amazon where it is for purchase 🙂
I wish it could be ordered somewhere besides Amazon. I don’t like to fund their politics.
There is! LearningHerbs.com. John Gallahger, creator of this game runs it. Great info there too.
Mountain Rose Herbs also carries this.
would also like to know how to order this
https://www.mountainroseherbs.com/products/wildcraft-board-game/profile
‘an’ herbal. Would get that changed.
Actually, not. http://www.grammarphobia.com/blog/2007/02/do-we-say-an-herb-or-a-herb.html
So, the person who wrote this is British?
This is a great game, I have played it a number of times and the kids love it!
The illustrations/artwork are wonderful! Done homeschooling now but would have loved such a resource when I was homeschooling. Maybe need to order one to play with the grandkids…..
Can it ship overseas?
I bet if you got it on amazon it could!
Goddamn US have the most abstruse international shipping costs ever – 30$ shipping on a 30$ product, SURE.
On European Amazon the game goes for 170€, ffs !
Just wow.
Forget it.
I’m trying to understand what biome/region this game relates to. Maybe somebody can help me out with that.
Love the looks of this! I’ve been super adventurous all my life and grew up in the fields & forests on a farm. One thing I’d LOVE to see done is to have an age appropriate way to teach all kids to ‘ask 1st’, type of card/ trap in the game before, trying herbs etc out in real life. Having a ‘Poison’ or ‘Danger’ card of sorts for the look-alike herbs and some MEMORABLE visual clues to keep kids double checking ~ potentially over their lifetime as they discover out world’s flora.
Is It possible to have it in french ?
This is sooooo awesome! I’ve been developing a project called Common Knowledge to engage adults and children in wild plant ID and medicine. My goal with this project is to bring what people have known about plants and their stories back into the realm of common knowledge. I’ve designed a bunch of interactive learning tools just like your board game. One of them is a plant hunting memory card game to help people learn about medicinal plants that grow all around them. All illustrations were done by me from wild edible/medicinal plants I foraged. My project is all about empowerment… Read more »

A fantastic idea! Huge kudos for bringing the wonders of the natural world into the home for kid consumption. As a naturopath in Canada I work hard to do the same thing, so grateful for your initiative and for this resource that applies to so many regions. All the best in your endeavours to save this nutty place!!
