The 5 Gallon bucket
What you need:
5 Gallon Bucket w/ Top
Bucket Liner or bait bucket that can fit inside the 5 gallon bucket (serves as an insulator)
2” PVC Pipe long enough to cut into 4-6” sections
Small Electric Fan that has a removable base so it can sit flush against the bucket (6-10” fan)
Tools Used:
Box Cutter/Utility Knife
2 1/8” and 2 1/4” hold saw bits
Instructions:
-Drill 2-1/4″ holes in the bucket to support the exhaust ports.
-Drill 2-1/8″ holes in the insulating liner that goes inside the bucket which also hold the exhaust ports.
-Cut a hole in the bucket lid so your fan sits flush against the opening.
-Insert exhaust PVC ports. May require glue.
-Insert loose ice, ice packs, or frozen gallon jug into the bucket.
-Connect the lid and place the fan flush to blow air into the bucket.
-Turn on the fan and feel the cold air blowing from the exhaust ports.
The Cooler
Materials:
One bag of ice
One rubber dryer tube
One Styrofoam/or Plastic cooler
One desk fan
Instructions:
1. Dump all that ice into your little cooler.
2. After tracing around your plastic dryer tube, cut a hole in the lid of the cooler with a knife. Cut a hole for the fan
3. Stick the tube in the hole. Place the face of the fan in the second.
4. Turn fan on
